Properties: The product is a colorless, transparent liquid. It has a strongly pungent odor. It is very corrosive and strongly toxic. White fumes can rise from it in air. Boiling point, 19.5°C.
Application: The product is mainly used for making element fluorine, fluorsalt, haloidalkane fluoride and hydrofluoric acid. It can be also used as fluoride agent.
Storage: The product should be stored in a storehouse with a shed and kept away from the sunlight. Strictly forbid storing it with combustibles and explosives together.
Transport: It should be treated as Grade A inorganic acid corrosive goods.
Packing:
It is refilled in a mid-pressure steel cylinder without a fusible stopper, with net weight 330kg or 660kg per cylinder.
